Department of Propaedeutics of Stomatological Disciplines
is headed by MD, professor S. I. Cherkashyn

The second-year students study at this department. Here they study anatomical-topographical peculiarities of the jaw-facial area, stomatological material study, instrumentarium. Working on phantoms our students acquire practical skills.
The teaching process is provided in English, Ukrainian and Russian languages at the department.
Department of Therapeutic and Children’s Dentistry
is headed by candidate of med. sc., ass. prof. O. V. Avdyeyev

At the department students acquire knowledge in therapeutic dentistry, orthodontics and prevention of stomatological diseases. Clinical halls are equipped according to modern requirement.
During practical classes, the students make clinical examination under the supervision of the instructors.
Department of Surgical and Orthopaedic Dentistry
is headed by candidate of med. sc., ass. prof. Y. P. Nahirnyy.

The department is equipped with clinical halls and classrooms. In the clinical halls there is all necessary stomatological equipment and apparatus for the third, fourth, and fifth year students. The students study the topographic-anatomical structure of the teeth and jaw area in order to fulfil anesthesia at the clinic successfully.
During practical classes the students learn how to make jaw imprints, plaster of Paris models of the jaws.
There is a library at the faculty, where students can learn the material and find the necessary information.
There is a computerized class, where the students can find electronic variant of the books, and all the necessary information from Internet and University web-site.
During the break our students can have lunch at the cafe.
7 hour study at the faculty, when the students study one subject, allows them to master the material and acquire practical skills.
