The main strategy in the work of TSMU clinical department is fulfilling medical- prophylactic work by the teaching staff of clinical departments according to the European and world level and standards.
The tasks of the clinical department are:
- fulfilling the state programs concerning the clinical work;
- controlling the execution of decisions of the Board of Ministry of Public Health of Ukraine, preparing the materials at the Ministry of Health of Ukraine;
- coordinating the activity between the University rector’s office and the Health Care Board of the town and regional state administration;
- collaboration with the institutions of practical health care providing of regional, town, and district subordination;
- coordinating the activity between the rector’s office and the head doctors of the town and regional medical institutions;
- development and maintaining the relations between the educational institutions, scientific-research and other institutions, organizations, enterprises, including foreign countries, in order to improve the efficiency of University work concerning the clinical affairs;
- active introducing new scientific technologies and working outs into the clinical process;
- attestation of the teaching staff of the clinical departments for the doctor’s qualification category;
- carrying out the teaching staff qualification improvement;
- active use of means concerning improvement of governing agreement and work discipline, strengthening financial state of the University as for clinical work questions;
- regular control and evaluation of the clinical work of the clinical departments’ teaching staff;
- analyzing and solving conflict situations (in case of their occurrence) between the hospital administration and the University authority of clinical departments;
- organizing and controlling the consultative-medical aid providing for University students and teachers on the budget and self-supporting basis;
- organizing the prophylactic examining of the TSMU students and teachers;
- organizing and controlling the University clinic (consultative-medical center) work;
- organizing the work of the out-patient department.
