The Institute
of Pathological Processes Modelling
and Analysis was founded by the decision of the Academic Council of
I.Ya.Horbachevsky Ternopil State Medical University from June 8, 2005 Minutes
¹14 and the rector’s order ¹ 201 from the 8th of June 2005. The Institute began
to function on July 15, 2005. It includes the Department of Pathological
Physiology, Department of emergency medicine and catastrof with military
training course, Department of Medical Informatic and Physics, Department of
Philosophy and Social Studies, Department of Ukrainian Studies, Department
of Foreign Languages and Medical Terminology.The Institute occupies
University building ¹6. In order to provide Institute activity of all branches
the Academic Council and Cyclic Methodological Commission were organized.
Professor Yu.I. Bondarenko is at the head of the Institute, Professor A.M.
Pryshlyak is at Deputy dirrector for educational work, Professor A.A.
Hudyma is at Deputy dirrector for scientific work. The work is
co-ordinated by scientific council.
Organization of educational process is the main
directon of institute activity,
creation optimal conditons for study of students and answer basic tasks:
realization of principles of the Bologne declaration in educational
process by means of credit-module system and organization of independant work
of the students; formation in the
students of fundamental basis of Evidence-Based Medicine and
Clinical Epidemiology and
logical comprehend of medical problems essence; introduction into educational process and scientific action the modern
informational systems and technologies, on the base of virtual programmes of
digital technology and computer graphics, experimental and mathematic
modelling.
In the thematical laboratory ”Pathophysiology of
blood” students master pathology of blood with make use of videosystem.
Modern medical apparatus is used for the master their
function principle at the studies on the medical informatic with phisics .
Video
system wide is used at the studies on Philosophy and Social Studies
Distance
form of education applied on the department of the institute.
Practical skill is
trainning at the studies on render emergency medical assistance to the patient.
Scientific work
Scientific laboratory is
functioned in the institute
International, All-Ukrainian
and Regional scientific-practical conferences, International
competition of emergency is organized in the institute.

teachers take part in project ”Culture without frontiers”
It is expected essential
improvement of educational process by means of improvement material base of
the departaments, educational laboratories according to Z-system, introduction
of modern informatic and communicative technologies, virtual
programmes, video systems, improvement of control methods of students knowledge, progressive
technological processes of mathematic and experimental modelling by means study
medical sociatial phenomens, scietific analysis and elaboration of test’s
technologies.
Many-sided
patriotic work is realized among students.
