On 16 -20 March,
2010 Vice-rector, prof. Ihor
Mysula and the head of international relations department
Nataliya Lisnychuk visited Patra (Greece).

During this visit the Partner Agreement
on granting educational services between I.Ya. Horbachevskyy Ternopil State Medical
University and the Educational organization “Fitilas”
was signed. According to the Agreement TSMU will teach
Greek students on a speciality „Pharmaceutics”.
Students will study according to the plans of correspondence course and will
receive the diploma of specialist and in future, maybe, Master degree.

National College “Fytila” is the subdivision of Greek educational institutions
network “Fytila”. This educational organization was
established by George Fytilas in 1955. In National College
has department of business administration, aethsetics-
cosmetology, health units management, marketing, logotherapy,
psychology, nursing
department, etc. There are 2 (junior specialist) and 4 (bachelor) years
studies. Graduates obtain speciality of microbiology assistant, radiology
assistant, nursery assistant, heath diet assistant, physiotherapy assistant and
cosmetics assistant. National College has all necessary equipment and,
according to the Agreement with University of Patra,
it can use labs and educational base of the University. College has its own
library, computer classes, canteen, labs and classrooms.


Students get here not only a
degree, but also an aesthetic education – all rooms of College are decorated
with paintings of historical subjects.

For significant achievements in the field of
education the National College "Fytila" was
rewarded with several awards of the Ministry of Education of Greece and International
educational institutions.
College conducts active
international activity, working with institutions providing specialist instruction
at secondary level and higher educational institutions of the United States (Clayton
University, Georgia; Clayton College, Alabama) Bulgaria, Ukraine (National
Automobile and Highway University, Kharkiv National
Academy of Municipal Economy, National Technical University “Kharkiv Polytechnical Institute”).
Our Greek partners
were interested in possibility of distance education on a speciality “Bachelor of Nursing” in International
Nursing School as well as
the possibility of obtaining higher pharmaceutical education by
students who have Greek educational
qualification level "Bachelor of Pharmacy”.
