The Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Nigeria in Ukraine Visited Our University

On the 11^th of September, 2009 the university visited the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Nigeria in Ukraine Mr. Ibragim of Pada Kasai. During negotiations the rector, corresponding member of AMS of Ukraine, professor L.Ya. Kovalchuk told about the university, study and residence conditions of foreign students. He also noted that today nearly 180 Nigerian citizens study at the University and most of them are purposeful and hardworking students. Therefore the university is interested in expansion of Nigerian students contingent. The rector supposed that the meeting would help in organizing more close collaboration in the field of education between two countries.

The ambassador noted that he was pleasant impressed by the conditions created for the students and he would recommend Nigerian citizens to study at the Ternopil Medical University. After negotiations the ambassador met with Nigerian students and visited some departments of the University.
