The
delegation of Ternopil Medical University
has been staying in Slovakia
for three days, from 10 to 13th of May. We were officially invited to Bratislava by the rector of Slovak Medical
University professor Ján Štencl on
occasion of the 55th anniversary celebration of the institute of post-graduate education. The cooperation
between TSMU and SMU started in 2002. Since then our teachers have undergone
the period of trainee in Slovak Medical University many times. They made use not
only of a nice possibillity to advance their doctors‘ qualifications, but
extended the knowledge about Bologna teaching process, because this educational
establishment is highly experienced in this field. During the last visit rector
of TSMU professor Leonid Yakymovych Kovalchuk was awarded by inscribed medal on
occasion of the institute of post-graduate education anniversary. Both
rectors came to an arrangement as for further teachers and students‘ exchange
programme and Slovak students‘ participation in TSMU summer camps.
