October 31, 2011 delegates of the 2ND Ukraine International Christian Young Medical Professionals conference "Purpose driving medicine" had meeting  with the rector of Ternopil State Medical University cor. member NAMS Ukraine, Professor Leonid Yakymovych Kovalchuk.

The meeting was attended by:

Gil Odendaal - Global Director for the HIV/AIDS Initiative, Saddleback; he holds professional memberships in a number of organizations including the American Anthropological Association (AAA); Society for Intercultural Education, Training and Research (SIETAR); Association for Africanist Anthropology; Association of Professors of Missions; International AIDS Society (IAS), The Global Health Council (GHI),  USA;
Sharon Khun -
: Associate Professor of Family Medicine at the Medical College of Georgia, Georgia Health Sciences University. Co-Medical Director of Mission to the World, USA;
June Johnson -
Bachelor of Science in Nursing, USA;
Ross Simpson - General Practitioner, Senior Lecturer in  Brighton Medical University, UK;

Rector informed the guests with the latest methods of teaching at the university, logistics and Internet resources of the University. Visitors expressed great interest in the presentation of village medical clinics University training bases, university web portal, as well as anti-corruption reforms carried out in the university.

Gil Odendaal is telling about modern methods for HIV-AIDS in the U.S.

 

John Geater is telling participants with methods of PRIME to improve the quality of medical education in different countries

Preliminary agreements on cooperation with the Medical University of Brighton (UK), Oxford (UK), Georgia (USA) have been reached.
